working on the original doors
of our 1925 bungalow
these doors have witnessed much
no paint has touched them
there is beauty in the nicks and gouges
reminders of those who have passed through them
lightly sand and varnish coat
the brass and crystal I do not polish
the patina much more beautiful
than anything new
