6/27/99 - The Scouting Letter
Dear Merrily,
This is a 'scouting' note to see if this reaches you. I'm afraid
too many years may have passed since our last communication.
Bryan would like to contact you, if you are still willing. We
have shared your letters with him, and he has written you one.
Now that he has grown into a wonderful young man, I, too,
would love to communicate with the woman who has been
an angel in my life since April 1, 1979.
I hope this note not only finds you, but finds you well.
Fondly,
Mom-of-Bryan

Thank you so much for finding my blog and sharing your story. I've been thinking and dreaming about finding my birth mother for so long. It's wonderful to know that it sometimes works out.
I can't imagine how you felt when you received that letter!

I have an adult grand daughter whom I think about every day. I fervently wish I will have the joy of meeting her again someday. Weeping
Jill told me a story last weekend about meeting Bryan and his parents at some fund raiser thing in Oakland. She said that when she realized who he was she burst into tears!
And she said he was very handsome.
Has she told you about it?
Your story moves me so much. I appreciate you sharing it with us.
Wow!
How wonderful!
